Global Background

DAO Governance Architecture

The long-term mission of Global Park DAO is to evolve into a fully community-governed and decentralized organization. In the early Genesis Phase, the project prioritizes operational stability, security, and infrastructure development through a temporary Council structure with a clear roadmap toward community governance.

Our first priority is to build a strong and inclusive community. The DAO will transition from the founding Council to full community governance as soon as possible, through mass onboarding and token distribution.

To ensure fairness, Global Park DAO conducts an early public listing with no private sales, VC allocations, or exclusive investor rounds. Every participant has an equal opportunity to acquire GPARK tokens and join DAO governance on transparent terms.

The DAO framework combines multisignature treasury control, on-chain records, and progressive decentralization.

DAO Council

A five-member DAO Council holds independent wallets and manages treasury transactions, protocol changes, and execution of DAO decisions. All actions require a 3-of-5 multisignature approval via Gnosis Safe.

The Council acts only as a steward during the Genesis Phase and will not retain permanent control.

Voting & Proposal Thresholds

  • Voting Rights: Any wallet holding at least 100 unlocked GPARK tokens can vote on Snapshot proposals.
  • Proposal Submission: Requires 5,000 unlocked GPARK tokens or community endorsement via forum upvotes.
  • Delegation: Any GPARK holder may delegate voting rights to another wallet.

These thresholds may only be amended by DAO vote after the Autonomous Phase transition.

DAO Treasury & Token Ownership

Treasury Address: 0xd45BA3Fb796CD735715aB6966f198d416EC353C1. The treasury holds ETH, GPARK, and NFT revenues, and distributes funds strictly based on DAO-approved proposals.

The GPARK token contract is fully owned by the DAO Treasury. No individual holds admin rights; privileged functions require Council multisig approval.

Governance Records & Identity

All governance documents (Genesis Rules, Wallet Maps, Launch Reports) are verifiable via IPFS and linked to the DAO’s ENS domain.

Roadmap for Governance Transition

  • Genesis Phase: Council-led stewardship and DAO community formation.
  • Autonomous Phase: Community-led governance via Snapshot voting by GPARK holders.

Upon transition, the Council will become purely advisory or may be dissolved by community vote.
